The name of Hotel Baltschug Kempinski Moscow has always been associated (асоусиэйтед) with Moscow's vibrant (вайбрант) history and the main attractions of the Russian capital. Located in the heart of Moscow, the hotel offers a picturesque view (вью) of the Kremlin, Red Square and Pokrovsky Cathedral (кафИдрал). The inimitable (инимитабл) image of the hotel makes Baltschug one of the capital's 'calling cards' for tourists visiting Moscow.

History (1) (2-й слайд):

The Baltschug Kempinski Hotel is situated in Baltschug – a historic (хистОрик) district in Moscow, Russia. It stands between the Moscow River and the Vodootvodny channel, and dates back to the 14th century. Following the 1812 Fire of Moscow, which provided quite a lot of development opportunities, the hotel’s first location was erected on Baltschug street – a two-story structure with apartments on the first floor and commercial store fronts at the ground level. This building was quickly demolished in favor of a new one, the Bukharest Hotel, which made headlines that referenced (референсд) its famous designer, architect Alexander Ivanov. This early hotel offered a diverse (дайверс) array (эрей) service for guests that were rare at the time, including a restaurant with a three-furnace (фенас) beer brewery (бревери) as well as a barber (барба), baker and loan (лон) agency (эйджинси), all of which were located alongside shops selling metal goods, window shades, cheese and bread.

The exterior (экстериа) walls of the modern structure date back to the reign (рейн) of Tsar Nicholas II at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries. They are the only remaining remnants (ремнентс) of the original building.

In 1989, the hotel was closed for a reconstruction that lasted three years. Building materials were supplied from Austria (острия) and the restoration cost approximately (апроксимитли) $86 million. The hotel was completely rebuilt except for the original facade (фасад), which was carefully repaired. In 1992, the reconstructed Bukharest hotel was opened under the new name Baltschug Kempinski. It earned a five-star status and soon became one of the top-reviewed (ревьюд) hotels in Moscow. The restoration work was awarded (авОдед) a Five Star Diamond and a Crystal Rook award, and the hotel eventually became a member of the international Leading Hotels of the World association (асошиэйшн).

The Baltschug Kempinski is located in the heart of the large and bustling (бастлин) capital, right across from some of the city's most famous landmarks, including Red Square and St. Basil's Cathedral. Situated right on the banks of the Moskva River, it is a 10-minute walk from Zaryadye Park, the Tretyakov Gallery and GUM (гам). Then come the Bolshoi Theatre, Gorky Park and Museon Park.

A little about Dining (5-й слайд):

The Baltschug Grill restaurant welcomes guests for the daily breakfast buffet with the Kremlin view. The morning feast offers more than 100 different dishes for all tastes: traditional Russian pancakes with red caviar and sour cream, various kinds of honey, local dairy products, omul fish from lake Baikal, and freshly squeezed fruit and vegetable juices. 

Café Kranzler is the calling card of the hotel. By day, it has a vibrant atmosphere: catching up with friends, business meetings, and everyone in good spirits, enjoying the aroma of ground coffee beans and fresh pastries (пейстрис). By night, the Kranzler takes on the spirit of a casual lounge – the perfect place for a relaxed dinner. To whet the appetite, there is a vodka degustation set.

The cozy and friendly Lobby Lounge bar offers a great selection of puddings, beverages, and exquisite drinks.

As well as excellent jogging (жогинг) trails along the river, the Hotel has a swimming pool, a small fitness center, a whirlpool, and men’s and women’s saunas (сонес) in its basement. It also has a beauty center on the second floor with hairdressing and face and body treatments using cosmetics. New to the Hotel is the barbershop on the ground floor, which offers shaving, manicure, and haircuts for gentlemen.
