Shalyapin Palas Hotel — hotel in the city of Kazan. Occupies two buildings connected among themselves (the first angular and the second along the street) from crossing of a pedestrian street Bauman (house 80) and Universitetskaya Street (house 7). The complex of buildings is a cultural monument of republican value.

Description of hotel

The first building has been built in 1869 — 1873 as the house of the Kazan merchant of the first guild Zigansha Usmanov. In 1899 the building has been reconstructed for new owners — E.S. Smolentsev and N.P. Shmelyov's Trading house. Then in the top part of the building the hotel known as "Northern numbers" has also appeared.

Nearby in 1909 — 1910 by request of the same Smolentsev and Shmelyov the two-dome second building of hotel has been built. Both buildings have been connected among themselves and had coloring in green tones.

In Soviet period the hotel carried the name "Council".

Buildings by the Millennium of Kazan in 2005 have been completely reconstructed and restored with izmeneneiy colourings on cream-brown tone and the device of bright night illumination then the hotel has received the modern name.

On the platform before a main entrance in hotel (in the second building) the monument to Fedor Ivanovich Shalyapin who was born in Kazan is located. On the first floor of the first building shops and offices are located.

Number of rooms

In hotel there are 123 numbers which are excellently issued and completed. The classical style is complemented with modern elements and materials, but there are also attributes of a traditional national decor. Here offer lodgers of number of such categories as: standard, studio, luxury and presidential apartments. All of them have bathrooms where modern plumbing fixtures are installed, there are an electrohair dryer and bathing accessories. The big territory is characteristic to each number therefore guests feel with comfort.

Especially elite and luxurious apartments of a presidential class, they have four premises. The bathroom is presented by a standard set of plumbing fixtures, a bidet, jacuzzi. The wide kitchen of such number allows not only to cook food, but also to eat at a big table in a number of the located dining room. But any apartments of hotel have the necessary objects for convenience of guests, it is the conditioner, a minibar, TV, upholstered furniture, the electrohair dryer, a working zone and telephone communication. Therefore lodgers, coming back to Kazan, stay at this hotel again.

Standard number with one double bed - 4500-6500 rub.

The total area of apartments is 15 sq.m. Vacationers can use berths, a Split system, a working zone, a minibar, TV and other necessary objects. The bathroom has a convenient bathroom, the electrohair dryer and bathing accessories. The classical design of numbers allows tourists to feel most comfortably, it is complemented with the beautiful floor lamps found by curtains, expensive bed.

The hotel offers for comfortable accommodation of lodgers of number with two separate berths of standard category. Exacting guests will be delighted with an interior and equipment of these apartments. There is an opportunity to place one or two people. One-room studio-6800-8800 rub.

The total area of apartments is 15 sq.m.

In hotel complex studio apartments enjoy special popularity, they have the big area which is divided for convenience into zones. Twenty rooms are excellently furnished therefore two or three guests will be able comfortably to live in them. There is a place for work where the table, a chair, a desk lamp and phone is established, the sleeping zone is equipped with a big bed, curbstones and night lamps, and the area of a drawing room is equipped with a sofa, a chair, a case and TV.

This option of studio has two living rooms and a bathroom. Noble tone have been involved at registration of apartments therefore guests can feel here most comfortably. The classical style gives to the room of refinement and a cosiness therefore guests are in numbers with great pleasure. Vacationers can use various home decoration, it is upholstered furniture, a minibar, the conditioner, TV, floor lamps and other elements. Beautiful chandeliers and night lamps give in the evening to rooms of romanticism.

Presidential number - 41000-42000 rub.

The total area of apartments is 35 sq.m.

The special magnificent view is in presidential apartments of hotel, they have four premises. The interior is executed in style 20 of a century therefore here it is convenient and pleasant to guests to live. Here exclusive furniture is established, there are beautiful decorative elements, and the elegant stucco molding on a ceiling just strikes tourists. In a bathroom guests can not only make bathing procedures, but also have a rest after intense day, it is completed with a jacuzzi.
