Leadership        

        The world knows plenty of busuness leaders but only a few of them are known all over the world. What makes a great leader? It`s hard to say if the best leaders are born or made. It can be probably a combination of the social environment influence and inborn character traits trained and developed in some way. Not everyone can become a business leader and not every business leader is a pattern to follow.

        As for me among the modern leaders whose success causes admiration I could name Steve Jobs, a founder of Apple, Mark Zuckerberg, a godfather of Facebook, Bill Gates, an establisher of the Microsoft and Worren Buffet, a businessman and investor. What helped them to reach the Olymp?

        Steve Jobs was an orphan and non-conformist, whose early years were not happy, but the difficulties made him stronger. In his youth he revealed interest in electronics and with the help of his friend made his first capital. He is often characterised as an authoritative, decisive, ruthless and thoughtful leader. Smartphones and tablets produced by his company prove to be high-quality and reliable.

        Mark Zuckerberg got interested in programming at the age of 10, he also liked to play a computer strategy «The Civilisation» where he had to risk and manage the world. He was highly motivated when his girlfriend left him and held a voting for the most beautiful student in Harvard. It was the beginning of the Facebook, the most popular social net, which connects people from different countries. He became a billionaire at 25 and is referred to as a smart, modest, straight and charismatic businessman.

        Bill Gates is a vivid example of an american dream coming true. His early interest in maths allowed him to study in Harvard University which he left to devote himself to Microsoft Corporation. He is considered to be adventurous, non-conformist, monopolist and absolutist, filanthrope and a generous man.

        Evidently, great success comes to critically thinking leaders, who are working hard and invent something new and vital for the society, for the progress, for the future.

        Мир знает множество бизнес-лидеров, но лишь немногие из них обрели мировую известность. Что делает лидера великим? Трудно сказать, рождаются ли лидерами или становятся. Возможно, это сочетание влияния социального окружения и врожденных черт характера, которые тренируют и развивают определенным образом. Не каждый может стать бизнес-лидером и не каждый бизнес-лидер является образцом для подражания.

        Что касается меня, среди современных лидеров, чей успех вызывает восхищение, я могу назвать Стива Джобса, основателя компании Эппл, Марка Цукерберга, крестного отца Фейсбука, Билла Гейтса, основателя компании Майкрософт, и Уоррена Бафета, предпринимателя и инвестора. Что же помогло им взойти на Олимп?

        Стив Джобс был сиротой и нон-конформистом, чьи ранние годы не были счастливыми, но трудности сделали его сильнее. В молодости он проявлял интерес к электронике, и с помощью друга заработал свой первый капитал. Его часто характеризуют как авторитарного, решительного, жесткого и мыслящего лидера. Смартфоны и планшеты, произведенные его компанией, являются показателем высокого качества и надежности.
