Introduction
This course paper was written with the purpose of determining the characteristics of economic texts and identifying the difficulties of translating economic texts from English into Russian. This type of translation is quite difficult and has its own peculiarities.
The complexity of the translation is that to translate this type of text is not enough just to know the terminology that is used in this area. In addition to this, the translator must know more about the economy, be aware of the issues and news around it, find out more about its development and other things. If they do not, the translator's work will not be great enough.
It is worth noting that the globalization of the world economy is now a reality. Almost all countries in the world are part of a larger network. Events in the markets of the West undoubtedly affect the exchanges in the East, and conversely.
Therefore, people who occupy a particular position in the economy need to communicate with each other for business reasons. Although English is the language of global communication, the language spoken and documented in many countries, the translation is still very much needed. This is especially so for non-English-speaking countries.
For people who are doing business in the field of economics, it is very important to have the opportunity to turn to a good translator and get good quality translation of documents or any other papers. Moreover, to the services of an translation-interpreter also often apply, because without this it is impossible to imagine negotiations between representatives of different countries who do not speak the same language .
Economy is eternal, and that is why this type of translation will always be relevant and in demand.
The object of research in this course paper are texts in the field of economics and finance, based on which have been identified features of the translation.
The subject of the study is the terminology taken from these texts. It has been analyzed on the manifestation of their features in the process of translation.
