Тюменский государственный институт культуры

Tyumen State Institute of Culture was founded in 1991.

There are 5 departments in its structure: Faculty of Music, Theatre and Choreography; Faculty of Sociocultural Technologies; Faculty of Design, Visual Arts and Architecture; Centre of Additional education. There is also a College of Arts.

There are day and part-time students.

Our Institute are traineds: directors of peoples' theatres, holidays' directors, academic choir and folk instruments' orchestra conductors, singing and music teachers, folk dance and sport dance choreographers, managers in social sphere, librarians, managers of organization for tourism sphere, museums' study specialists, painters, decorative and applied arts' specialists, specialists in design and arts' study specialists.

The academic year is divided into two terms.

At the end of each term the students have tests and exams.

Our students study foreign languages, philosophy, history, literature, psychology, computing, management, sociology, PT, economics and many disciplines according to their schedules.

A good professional staff: Doctors and Masters of sciences, Professors, Senior teachers, Honored workers, All-Russian and International Contests’ winners provide lectures, seminars and practical instructions.

They give the students professional and cultural education.

Modern multimedia technologies are being used in the teaching process.

A great attention is paid of self-dependent students’ work.

The Chair of Piano, Folk Instruments’ Chair, Conducting Chair, Arts and Crafts Creative Work Chair and Direction Chair.

Lecture halls, computer classes and modern libraries are at the disposal of our students.

The institute graduates are claimed at the labour market.

A great deal of attention is paid to the process of graduates’ job placement.

Every year the Committee for Culture of Tyumen Region Administration gives the information of vacancies in cultural sphere.

Our students work in different cultural institutions.

The institute graduates work at Tyumen Region Administration, in the city of Tyumen, in the regional and cities’ administrations of Tyumen oblast.

Тюменский государственный институт культуры был основан в 1991 году.

В его структуре 5 факультетов: Факультет музыки, театра и хореографии; Факультет социокультурных технологий; Факультет дизайна, изобразительного искусства и архитектуры; Центр дополнительного образования. Здесь также есть Колледж искусств.

Есть дневные и заочные студенты.

В нашем институте обучаются: режиссеры народных театров, режиссеры праздников, дирижеры академического хора и оркестра народных инструментов, преподаватели пения и музыки, хореографы народных танцев и спортивных танцев, менеджеры в социальной сфере, (библиотекари), менеджеры организаций (для сферы туризма), специалисты по музеям, художники, специалисты по декоративно-прикладному искусству, специалисты по дизайну и искусству.

Учебный год разделен на два семестра.

В конце каждого семестра студенты сдают зачеты и экзамены.
