The aim of this work is to analyze the Spain market and offer recommendations for starting a business.
Spain is a wonderful country to live in and increasingly favorable for doing business. Nevertheless, if you are a foreigner and want to start an entrepreneurial activity here, you need to understand not only the peculiarities of doing business in the country, the peculiarities of the mentality and culture of the population, but also many other important factors that can affect your potentially profitable business.
What can work well and habitually at home will not necessarily work well in Spain either. Therefore, it is necessary to invest one and a half to two times more resources and time for the organization of all business processes from the originally planned ones, taking into account the period of their own adaptation to the country, language barriers, the search for business connections and many other factors.
Among business immigrants, a popular way to start your own business in a foreign country is to receive remote income and live in the country where the business is planned. So a foreigner can systematically master the language and cultural characteristics of the region of residence, gradually building his business. In the case of narrow experts, if their services are in demand in Spain, they open a profile business here, simultaneously pulling up the language or hiring translators to work.
There is an option of buying a ready-made business in Spain. In this case, you need to contact a specialized agency and find a good local lawyer who will advise and accompany the transaction.
Spain is among the European countries with a favorable climate for doing business and with a simplified procedure for its registration.
When registering a legal entity in any form, a business owner (non-resident of Spain or without another European residence) can apply for the right to obtain a business visa or a residence permit of a certain type.
Before starting a business in Spain, it is worth studying the specifics of doing business in the country and in a particular region (where the business is planned). It would be advisable to assess the economic viability of the selected region for doing business.
The regions of Spain differ not only in climatic, cultural and social conditions, but also in the standard of living and solvency of the population. For example, regions with a predominance of cheap real estate, as a rule, subsidized. In such regions, the poor population and high unemployment rate prevail.
