Problems of big cities

Nowadays, a lot of people prefer live in big city because of many opportunities that it brings to them like job or good education. But every big city usually face a lot of problems. 
The first and the biggest problem is environmental pollution. It's an issue that troubles us economically and physically. The large source of pollution derives from cars, trucks, buses and construction equipment.
The state of air and water may cause health problems. A lot of people, who live in big cities notice the difference between city and town water and air quality.
Second problem is the lack of housing or too expensive housing. Due to the problem big cities often have a lot of homeless people, who government can't help.
Third problem is criminal. The crime rate in most big cities is very high. Some people can't leave their house at night because of fear of being robbed or killed. 
Next one is about overcrowding, this problem is very close to anyone, who ever was in a big city. There is a lot of people everywhere: public transport, parks, cinemas. There is no place to be alone.
Providing food and water is a problem too. A lot of people in some cities can't afford daily meals, typically, this problem affects large families, which can't cover all the expenses of the family. 
The last problem is traffic jams. This is also an important issue, because sometimes emergency can't come in right time, hitting the road.
But all this problem still exist in some small towns and it’s wrong to say that living in a city is bad. If you are an active person, always looking for opportunities and something new, you should live in the city. You can find the right places and people in a city, just like in the small towns.

В настоящее время многие люди предпочитают жить в большом городе из-за множества возможностей, таких как работа или хорошее образование. Но каждый большой город обычно сталкивается с множеством проблем.

Первая и самая большая проблема - загрязнение окружающей среды. Это проблема, которая беспокоит нас экономически и физически. Крупный источник загрязнения - легковые, грузовые автомобили, автобусы и строительная техника.

Состояние воздуха и воды может вызвать проблемы со здоровьем. Многие люди, живущие в больших городах, замечают разницу между городской и городской водой и качеством воздуха.
