This year turned out to be difficult, but the Mangystau region demonstrated positive dynamics of development in all major industries. The development of tourism in the region is one of the most important areas of our economy. Within the framework of the state program for the development of the tourism industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Mangystau region has entered the top 10 promising tourist zones of the republic.

Secondly, it is ethnic, cultural and ecological tourism. In this segment, the Mangystau region has a high tourist potential, having 362 holy places and 13,000 historical monuments under state protection.

Thirdly, a pilgrimage to the holy places of Beket-ata and Shopan-ata. This direction shows an increase in the number of pilgrims from year to year. The growth of popularity directly depends on the infrastructure of road transport to the holy places.

The region has many attractive features for both foreign and domestic tourists.
