1. Find English equivalents for the following in the text and use them in the sentences of your own

3. Translate the sentences from Russian into English using the active vocabulary.

1. Во время переговоров изначально возникли вопросы, которые требовали

незамедлительного решения.

During the negotiations, issues initially arose that required immediate resolution.

2. Все считают твой поступок благородным жестом, а благородство

бессмысленным не бывает.

Everyone regards your act as a chivalrous gesture   and nobility is never meaningless.

3. Дискриминация в отношении групп меньшинств в отдельных случаях

проявлялась в виде преследований.

Discrimination against minority groups has in some cases manifested itself in the form of persecution.
