Working for a good manager requires certain skills and professional training. While I am studying at the academy, I focus on gaining knowledge and skills that may be important for my future career. Working in such an environment may require experience that I do not yet have, but my training is designed to prepare me for a successful career, including working with a good manager. Once I complete my studies and am ready for employment, my academic background will be a valuable asset when seeking employment with an experienced and qualified supervisor.

People decide to become managers for different reasons, and the motivations vary:

  1. Desire to influence and control: Some people strive for leadership positions because they enjoy having influence over others and making decisions that shape the results of a company or organization.
  2. Career progression: For many, being a manager is a natural next career step. They see this as an opportunity to develop professionally and move up the career ladder.

I can certainly understand the principles of effective management and offer guidance based on those principles. However, whether I could be a "good" manager would depend on how well I can adapt to various situations, understand human dynamics, and make decisions based on empathy and logic. While I can provide advice and strategies, the true test of managerial prowess lies in the practical application and interpersonal skills, which are areas where I'm still developing.

An autocratic leadership style, where a single individual holds most or all power, can sometimes achieve positive results, particularly in situations where quick decisions and clear directives are necessary. Here are a few scenarios where autocratic leadership might be effective:

  1. Crisis Management: In emergencies or crises, such as natural disasters or military conflicts, autocratic leadership can be essential for making rapid decisions and ensuring swift action without the delays of consensus-building.
  2. High-Stress Environments: In high-stress environments like certain types of business turnarounds or medical emergencies, autocratic leaders can provide clarity and direction, helping to alleviate confusion and ensure that tasks are completed efficiently.
