Introduction
The sources of a country's competitiveness are defined as the ability to produce comparable use values at a cost lower than world prices and the ability to create greater use value at the same cost of production resources. Both sources are aimed at the same result - the influx of additional value into the country's economy. Each source has its own characteristics. Thus, the first source has a competitive origin, and the second is monopoly in nature.
The competitive nature of the ability to produce below world costs is determined by the fact that the cost advantage is the result of competition among sellers of substitute products. Two points follow from this: the instability of the gained advantage, since none of the rivals can control the factors of competitiveness; and the mandatory reduction of benefit benefits. In conditions of price competition, the seller who offers the product at a lower price has an advantage, which forces rivals to temporarily reduce the price. As a result, the size of the benefits from the cost advantage is reduced, since it is problematic to achieve the same cost reduction.
The competitive development of countries is an important indicator that characterizes the socio-economic development of the country. Competitiveness is determined by the presence of a number of competitive advantages. At the same time, a high indicator of competitiveness allows the country to accelerate economic development, gain more competitive advantages by increasing the investment attractiveness of the national economy of the country as a whole and its individual sectors. Thus, the competitiveness of the national economy forms certain socio-economic shifts. The study of this economic phenomenon is currently relevant due to the increase in globalization and integration trends, the increase in the openness of national economies and their increasing involvement in international economic relations.

The issues of competitiveness at the level of the economy in terms of relevance come to the fore among the issues of national importance, since they are closely related to the achievement of the country's dynamic economic development and the improvement of the living standards of its population.
