My choice of profession: why did I choose KazNU?
My name is Aigerim. Currently, I am a 1st year student of the specialty "Mathematics" in the field of "Mathematics and statistics" at the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.
Choosing a university is a prerequisite for further education. Every course and every university is different, and every student wants different things. The chance to find the perfect match can be a challenge and you will definitely need to decide what is most important to you. It's all about the priorities that you think are important to you, in the end, you will be the one who should study on the course.
Why did I choose KazNU?
When choosing a university, there are a few general things that I considered before exploring more specific factors. First of all, I suggest a good way to start researching universities is to look at the university league tables, that is, university rankings. This allowed me to see how well this or that university copes compared to others. A higher place in the table usually means that the facilities, grades and learning standards are better.
Al-Farabi Kazakh National University is one of the oldest and most prestigious educational institutions not only in Kazakhstan, but also in the whole of Central Asia. The main priority of KazNU is that it is a national university, that is, it means that the university is on a global level and is among the top best universities in the world, and this of course extols it compared to other universities.
