IImmersion in the history of Istanbul

One of the highlights of the trip was a visit to Istanbul, a city located at the junction of Europe and Asia. Istanbul surprised me with its unique mixture of cultures and eras, especially when I stood in front of the grand Hagia Sophia. When I entered this majestic building, I felt history come to life around me - Byzantine mosaics were adjacent to Islamic elements, symbolizing the fusion of cultures and religions.

Study of ancient Ephesus

No less exciting was the visit to the ancient city of Ephesus, which was once one of the most important cities of the ancient world. I walked along the streets lined with stone and imagined how thousands of years ago life was boiling here. I was especially impressed by the ruins of the temple of Artemis, one of the seven wonders of the world. It was really exciting to realize that I was in the place where the historical events I read about in the books took place.

Perhaps the most exciting moment of the whole trip was a hot air balloon flight over Cappadocia. Early in the morning, when the first rays of the sun touched the rocky valleys and bizarre "fairy fires", I was soaring in the sky, feeling freedom and admiration for nature. The view of the boundless landscapes of Cappadocia, colored with morning light, has become one of the most exciting sights in my life.
