“What was useful for me in CM and what have integrated/ tried out in my daily life?”

Conflict is usual thing for people. Human beings experience it in their day-to-day lives – with their friends, families, and more so their professional lives. In the workplace, conflict causes a massive degree of frustration, pain, discomfort, sadness, as well as anger. So, I’m very grateful to pass the course of Conflict Management, which is already helping in my life.
Why I think this course was very useful?
-Conflict management goes a long way in strengthening the bond among the employees and half of the problems automatically disappear.
-Conflict management helps to find a middle way, an alternative to any problem and successful implementation of the idea.
The most useful and not so visible from the beginning tip for me was the art of asking right questions. As I discovered, they can be closed, open-ended and informational. It was not so easy for me to change the way of asking questions from the usual “why”.
The other very useful lesson for me was how to deal with cold and hot conflicts. The main difference between them in solving I started to implement in my daily life is that in hot conflicts it’s important to take breaks and keep structure. Deep breathing is a proven way to calm stress and provide a more focused outlook on the matter at hand, so take at least one deep breath if you’re in the middle of a heated or stressful conflict. When we force ourselves to pause and breathe, rather than react, we can save ourselves from reacting emotionally and striking out in a way that might make things worse.
Conflict is part of our day-to-day lives. You can disagree with your family, friends, or coworkers. But, there are various conflict resolution steps you can embrace to ensure this issue is not manageable. Managing and resolving conflict at work is integral in meeting organizational goals.
The main thing that I understood for sure is that conflicts happen, even on our classes. Talking about business, how an employee responds and resolves conflict will limit or enable that employee's success. Effective conflict resolution skills can serve to reduce any discontent that could damage working relationships, facilitate better collaboration between coworkers and, as a result, construct strong working relationships between employees.
