ФРАЗЕОЛОГИЗМЫ В ЗАГОЛОВКАХ БРИТАНСКИХ ГАЗЕТ
Аннотация. Данная работа направлена на изучение фразеологических единиц английского языка в газетных заголовках. Целью исследования выступает выделение фразеологических единиц из заголовков Британских СМИ и выявление рубрики, включающей в себя наибольшее количество видоизмененных фразеологических единиц.
Ключевые слова: фразеологизмы, СМИ, рубрики, исходные и видоизмененные фразеологические единицы.
IDIOMS IN THE HEADLINES OF BRITISH NEWSPAPERS
Abstract. The current paper aims at studying English idioms in newspaper headlines. The aim of the study is to find out idioms from the British Mass Media headlines and identify the type of news including most transformed idioms.
Key words: idioms, mass media, heads, original and transformed idioms.
Целью данной работы является изучение фразеологических единиц в электронных СМИ Британии и выявление рубрики, в которой чаще всего употребляются оригинальные и видоизменные фразеологические единицы.
Во всем мире печатные и электронные средства массовой информации имеют большое значение для информирования общества. Основной целью СМИ является ознакомление людей с последними событиями в мире. Для того чтобы понять о чем пойдет речь в статье, достаточно прочитать заголовок. Он имеют особую структуру. Чаще всего используются короткие, лаконичные выражения, а также встречается большое количество фразеологизмов.
Фразеологизм (фразеологическая единица – ФЕ) – относительно устойчивое, воспроизводимое, экспрессивно окрашенное сочетание слов, обладающее, как правило, целостным значением [1, с.516].
Фразеологизмы в газетах часто используются в заголовках, потому что читатели обращают свое внимание в первую очередь именно на заголовок. В целях усиления выразительности фразеологические единицы подвергаются трансформации.
Под фразеологической трансформацией понимается любое отклонение от общепринятой нормы, закрепленной в лингвистической литературе, а также импровизированное изменение в экспрессивно-стилистических целях [2, с.7].
В ходе исследования нами был проведен анализ фразеологизмов в заголовках газет. Фразеологические единицы были отобраны методом сплошной выборки из газеты «The Sun». Для поиска были выбраны следующие рубрики:
- Travel;
- Sport;
- Health;
- Showbiz;
- Money;
- TV.
В данной таблице представлены фразеологизмы, встречающиеся в перечисленных выше рубриках.

По подсчетам, нами было выявлено, что из 70 фразеологизмов 45 фразеологических единиц предстают в заголовках газет в исходном виде, остальные же 25 являются видоизмененными.
