(1 слайд) Good afternoon. My name is Алёна and today I`m going to talk about Ebola hemorrhagic fever.(2 слайд) The talk is in 5 parts. I would like to begin with what is Ebola hemorrhagic fever.( 3 cлайд) Ebola hemorrhagic fever is an acute viral syndrome that presents with fever and an ensuing bleeding diathesis that is marked by high mortally in human and nonhuman primates. The first part is dedicated to main symptoms of fever.  (4 cлайд)  Main symptoms are Myalgia, Severe headache, Vomiting and others you can see them on the slide. My second part about transmission of the virus. (5 слайд) Epidemics of Ebola virus disease are generally thought to begin when an individual becomes infected through contact with the meat or body fluids of an infected animal. Once the patient becomes ill or dies, the virus then spreads to others who come into direct contact with the  infected individual’s blood, skin, or other body fluids.(6 слайд) There are 5 main types of transmission of the virus:

•  Person-to-person
• Through different body fluids
• Airborne
• Nosocomial
• From animals.

My third part about Prevention. (7 слайд) Prevention include: Wearing of protective clothing.(8 слайд) The use of infection-control measures  (9 слайд) Isolation of Ebola patients from contact with unprotected persons. The aim of all of these techniques is to avoid contact with the blood or secretions of an infected patient. Moving on to management.(10 cлайд)  Agents that have been studied for the

treatment or prevention of Ebola virus disease include the following: Ribavirin, Interferon beta, Recombinant human interferon alfa-2, Activated protein C and others. Next vaccines. (11 cлайд) Vaccines against Ebola does not currently exist. Work continues on a vaccine for Ebola virus infection. So in conclusion, Outbreak of EHF was the outcome of complex human behavioral, environmental factors on the public.
