What can I do to make my native town better?

I'am from Arkhangelsk and love this city, because I was born in this place and spent my childhood with friends and graduated  my favorite forty-fifth school, I passed the exams very well and went to the Northern Arctic Federal University. I really like studying and developing here!

But my city has many problems in different areas, but I'll tell you about the main problems. The first problem of my native town is rubbish on the street. People often throw out rubbish on the street, such as bottles, bags and waste. But sometimes people throw out a sofa, television, closet at the entrance of their house, so rats appear in apartment buildings. And I would solve this problem this way: throw the rubbish in the trash can, write a complaint to the mayor’s office or the government. And also spread the word about the importance of not littering on social networks. The second problem of my city is buses, because last year new modern buses appeared in our city that can transport many people. But because of this, buses are often late and people complain about drivers. Also new buses are always dirty. Therefore, to solve this problem, you can contact the Ministry of Transport of the Arkhangelsk Region and communicate respectfully with the driver, perhaps this will improve his performance. And the third problem is the poor restoration of cultural monuments. For example, the Obelisk of the North has been restored for several years and there is no result, although it stands in front of the government building of the Arkhangelsk region. Or a monument to the victims of the intervention, whose paint and plaster has peeled off and has cracks. I think to correct this situation, we need to contact architects and historians, so that they contact government agencies.

Even though there are big problems, Arkhangelsk will remain important to me in my life, I confess my love for my native town and want it to develop and become better.
