Our University.
Kazakh-Russian Medical University
Our history dates back to 1992. During these years, academician of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, member of the International Association of Surgeons Halyk kaharmany Mukhtar Aliyev together with Professor K. M. Maskeev, associate professors V. S. Golubchenko, O. A. Panova built the first private medical university in the CIS region. At that time, it was known as the Kazakhstan Medical Institute (KMI). Later, in 2010, the university was renamed the Kazakh-Russian Medical University.
The educational program of the university fully meets the state educational standard. At the same time, new forms and methods of training aimed at improving higher medical education in the Republic were successfully tested on the basis of the University.
Practical training in special clinical disciplines is conducted in leading medical institutions of Almaty.

In order to implement the address of the president of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the people of Kazakhstan "New Kazakhstan in a new world" until 2020, the University together with the foundation of the first president of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the public Foundation "Asar" has been providing medical and sanitary assistance to residents of remote settlements in the region of Kazakhstan with a mobile medical complex since 2009. The university has a training and practical School for ASC doctors on mobile medicine.
The Kazakh-Russian medical university is closely connected with higher educational institutions of near and far abroad. Our partners include: A. Almazov Federal Center for heart, Endocrinology and blood (Russia)-"Nagasaki University"- Japan, "Baltic International Academy" – Latvia, Pyatigorsk medical and Pharmaceutical Institute, Volgograd State Medical University, B. N. Yeltsin Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University, Omsk State Medical University, "KGV Enterprisetltd"-India, European Commission\Directorate - General development and cooperation-Europe aid (devko), Brussels, Belgium.
Scientific research, joint training programs and research projects in the fields of maternal and Child Health, regenerative medicine, epidemiology, and genetics have been organized. Within the framework of the academic mobility program, interns and residents, continuing education, the introduction of innovative technologies in the field of oncology, Endocrinology, rehabilitation, Pediatrics, the experience of doctors and teachers will be implemented.
In all its activities, the Kazakh-Russian medical university is based on the principle of creating a cultural life that pays special attention to students. The university encourages students to participate in the cultural and intellectual diversity of the University and use all the opportunities that allow them to develop on its basis. The Committee on Youth Affairs advises and supports students in their initiatives to make the educational experience as successful as possible.
