2. Give your point of view concerning 5 expressions of the speaker and their role in the life of a future lawyer:

• Expression 1: “We all want the world to be a better place”

Everyone wants to live in the better place. That’s why all of us must do our best to do the world better than it is. This expression has very important role in the life of the future lawyer, because people who work in this profession are able to change the world for the better, for example, to reach settlement of different disputes in peaceful way or protect person from unjust accusation.

• Expression 2: “To fight a good fight”

I think it’s the best expression to describe the aim of the fair lawyer. In my view, the fair lawyer is person who wouldn’t protect guilty people, but would join in different volunteer organizations which fight for justice in the world for making it better in law area. And the future lawyer must have it in thoughts every time by agreeing to the case.

• Expression 3: “To unite the parties riven asunder”

In my understanding, it means that even in the hard disputes your main aim it’s not achieving desired result, because you need to think how to achieve it in peaceful way and think about two parties of the disputes. Everything must be done in peaceful way for peace in the world. And sometimes it’s better to unite the disputing parties for researching compromise. And it’s like hint for the future lawyer that says firstly to try like “unite” the disputing parties to achieve easier resolving of disputes.

• Expression 4: “To litigate or not to litigate”

To my mind, this expression makes us think about importance of peaceful settlement of disputes because litigation give you not only desired result, but also heavy expenditures because this process is very expensive and nervousness because you will think about it all the time. And it is hint for the future lawyer that says firstly to think if the case worth losses of money and health for the customer and after that think about your profit.

• Expression 5: “We are going to be healers to a conflict”

To my way of thinking, this expression says us about lawyers who chose the way of peacemakers (mediators) because the main task for them to give ideas for settlement the disputes or just find compromises. Sometimes it can happen that conversation with mediator can help to “heal” the conflict and people will be thankful you for this. That’s why if the future lawyer wants to help people and make the world better, this person must choose the way of mediator (peacemaker) in regulation of disputes.
