There is no doubt that most of our relationships, job interviews, presentations depend on first impression we make on different people. From this opinion that you made on person, he will decide to cooperate with you further or not. Thus, it is very important to create positive first impression.

First, people can create an impression through their appearance, behavior, actions, way of communication and etc. Nowadays there are exist range of different schools, where image-managers help people to look successful and confident.

Appearance implies light make-up, minimum jewelry, conservative and attractive outfit. Our behavior should be polite, honest and friendly. Communication includes actions that can help us to build close business relationships. For example, confident handshakes, eye contact, polite smile.

Moreover, in the internet age people can create an impression through social media. To project an appropriate image, we need to think carefully about posting photos, videos, comments on social networks. If you want to find good job, you have to manage your profile. All your posts should be decent and inoffensive. Speaking about companies’ websites managers have to pau attention to design and usability. The website should be simple, informative and should contain relevant contacts (an e-mail, a phone number, an address).

Impression of a company is based on tangible and intangible factors. Tangible factors are something that we can see or touch, that have physical for. It can be office, quality of a product, uniform, website, brochures and printed material or advertisement in the media. As about intangible factors we cannot touch or see them, but we can feel them. These can be warm greetings, telephone answering system, speaking customer’s language, reputation.

Concerning me I want to tell you about my experience with printing house that located in Ryazan. They made positive impression on me. I have highlighted the key factors that influenced to form my opinion. First, I liked their website. It is very attractive and simple, has useful and up-to-date information. Also, I liked the quality of the postcards, wide range of paper they offer. Finally, I have appreciated the communication with customers. Manager was very friendly and polite and gladly answered all my questions.

In summary, I want to say that positive first impression is extremely important. It provides an opportunity to succeed in communicating with other people and build good relationships in business.
