INTRODUCTION

Information systems are an integral part of any modern enterprise. In the organization of such systems, the department of information technology is engaged, which performs the task of managing all processes for collecting, processing and storing data. It is important that these systems are integrated with each other, then they can work effectively as a whole.

The problem of data integration among systems remains relevant at the present time, as the rapid development of information technology leads to an increase in the number of different systems and applications that are used in companies and organizations. Each of these systems has its own specifics and data storage format, which leads to difficulties in their joint use. Systems can be distributed in different locations or managed by different organizations, which also complicates the integration process. Moreover, when working with large volumes of data, it is impossible to manually bring information into a single format, which creates the need for automated solutions for data integration. The task of data integration is important for business, as it allows you to reduce the costs of maintaining various parts of information systems, optimize workflows and reduce the risk of errors in data management and analysis. Data integration is also an important component for building business intelligence systems that allow you to analyze large amounts of data and make informed decisions based on the results. Thus, the problem of data integration among systems remains relevant and requires the development of new technological solutions to solve it.

As part of the industrial practice, the following goals were set:

• Study of data integration technologies.
• Studying the features of databases used in the project.
• The introduction of various integration methods to increase the efficiency of data processing.
• Maintaining documentation and the formation of reports on the project.

The object of study: Rockitsoft.

To achieve the goals, empirical work was carried out, including the analysis of literary sources in the field of information technology. In addition to empirical work, practical data integration implementation projects have also been implemented.

The first chapter of this report will provide an in-depth overview of the Rockitsoft LLC, where I had completed the Industrial Internship Program. This chapter will discuss the company's background, core business activities as well as the role of information systems in supporting their business processes. Additionally, this chapter will also touch on the company's culture and values that shape their approach to the integration of information systems.

The second chapter of this report will discuss the theoretical framework of the integration of information systems. This chapter will provide an overview of the fundamental concepts of integration and how it relates to information systems. Furthermore, this chapter will also discuss the importance of integration in achieving a coordinated approach to business processes.

The third chapter of this report will focus on the specific project that I had undertaken during the industrial internship program. This chapter will discuss the objectives of the project, the approach taken to achieve those objectives, and the outcomes of the project. Moreover, this chapter will also provide an overview of the tools and technologies used in carrying out the project.

From the results of the study, the following benefits of data integration were identified:

• Improving the quality of information for making managerial decisions.
• Reduce storage and processing costs by streamlining processes.
• Simplify access to data and improve staff efficiency.

However, during the study, a number of problems were identified that may arise in the process of data integration:

• Creating a single information system with high resilience can be a complex task.
• The need to convert data between different systems can lead to errors and data loss.
• Data integration can lead to high hardware and software upgrade costs.

Thus, the results of the study showed that data integration can bring many benefits, but can also be a complex and costly process. It is important to carefully analyze and evaluate costs and risks before proceeding with the integration of data for information systems.
