1)In the same year, the before mentioned army built a fortress by the river Lea, 20 miles above London.

2)In that summer, (a) great part of the citizens with/and other people, went and arrived at/reached at the Danish fortress ; and there were put to flight, and some four king's thanes were killed/slain.

3)Then during harvest, the king dwelled near to the town, while they(people) reaped the corn, where the Danish cannot prevent harvest reaping.

4)Then a certain day the king ride up by the sea, and observed where the river can be obstructed, so they aren’t able to bring out their ship.
