Painting is mainly to capture not what you see, but what you feel, your inner impression on a white page. When we think of Kazakh art, the first thing that comes to mind is Abilkhan Kasteev, who is at the forefront of visual art. Abilkhan Kasteev is one of the founders of the Union of Artists in Kazakhstan. Already in the twenties and thirties, he was satisfied with the life of the country and was able to depict not only the life of the people, but the vibrations of his inner soul, character, state, and breath on the canvas. I really like Abilkhan Kasteev's painting "Kyzdy eriksiz aketu". It depicts the scene of the bride being taken away by force. In the foreground are three men taking the girl away. Three horses are ready to take the unfortunate girl to the desert and run away. The artist skillfully used dark and complex colors to convey the sad situation and psychological tension in the painting. The image of the characters looks scary and sad. And in the next scene, you can see that the father is being sold for money, even though the mother is against it. And the person lying on the ground is the girl's true lover. Abilkhan Kasteev was able to convey the true image of Kazakh life, that the modern girl was not valued, that her consent was not important, that true lovers could not be united. It is very sad that such incidents happen even now.
