a country on the northern coast of South America, consisting of a continental landmass and many islands and islets in the Caribbean Sea. It has the world's largest known oil reserves and has been one of the world's leading exporters of oil. Capital and largest city is Caracas.

city in northeastern Italy. It is built on a group of 118 small islands that are separated by canals and linked by over 400 bridges. Venice has been known as "City of Water", "City of Bridges", "City of Canals". It is the birthplace of Baroque composer Antonio Vivaldi. Venice remains a very popular tourist destination, a major cultural centre, and has been ranked many times the most beautiful city in the world.
