2. The largest coral reef in the world is located off the northeast coast of Australia, stretching in length along the mainland shoal for almost two thousand three hundred kilometers. The width of the reef in the northern part is two km. This underwater work of art is one of the most famous and colorful attractions in Australia, annually attracting tourists from all over the world.

Самый крупный коралловый риф в мире находится у северо-восточного побережья Австралии, протянувшись в длину вдоль материковой отмели почти на 2300 км. Ширина рифа в северной части составляет 2 км.
