Майские праздники

Any person needs rest after hard work and holidays just are ideal for this purpose. There are several holidays and one of them on May 1 and on May 9, known as the Labor Day and the Victory Day in the spring.

The international day of the worker is celebrated practically everywhere, except the North American countries. Today it is an important holiday in Russia and in the countries of the former USSR which essence - spring and work. This day people participate in a festive march and a parade which begin in the morning and in concerts or various performances which take place in the evening. In many large cities local authorities start fireworks. The first of May almost all love. Children love the entertaining actions organized for them, adults like to be a part of the festive movement on streets, elderly citizens like to look at parades. The largest celebrations traditionally take place at Red Square. This day thousands of people gather in the center of Moscow.

From the moment of the emergence this holiday was always celebrated with scope. At May 9 an old story. Seventy six years ago Germany capitulated to the Soviet Union. This day the Great Patriotic War in Russia has come to an end. More than twenty five million people have died in four years. Needless to say that the end of this fight has saved a set of other lives. That is why this day is so important for the country. Him veterans of war especially value. Some of them are still living. This day local authorities organize military parades and fireworks too. Special attention this day is paid to veterans. The younger generation prepares all performances for them, gives them flowers, cards and a great lot of attention. Sometimes they receive honorary rewards and valuable presents from the mayor. One of symbols of this holiday is the St.George's Ribbon. She can be seen in public this day. And even on cars she appears. Traditionally, concerts and other events are held on the central square or in the park.

May holidays cause delight and grief in me. In the morning I went to parades. Weather was not really good, but there were many people. Closer by a lunch I walked in the park. There took place various competitions in which it was possible to participate. I went to a concert in the evening. After the concert there were fireworks.

I very much like May days off. It is sad that they are once a year.

Любому человеку нужен отдых после напряженной работы и праздничные дни просто идеально подходят для этого. Весной есть несколько праздников и одни из них 1 мая и 9 мая, известные как День Труда и День Победы.

Международный день работника отмечается практически везде, кроме северно-американских стран. Сегодня это важный праздник в России и в странах бывшего СССР, суть которого - весна и труд. В этот день люди  участвуют в праздничном марше и параде, которые начинаются утром и в концертах или различных выступлениях, которые происходят вечером. Во многих крупных городах местные власти запускают фейерверки. Первое мая любят почти все. Дети любят развлекательные мероприятия, устраиваемые для них, взрослым нравится быть частью праздничного движения на улицах, пожилые граждане любят смотреть на парады. Самые крупные празднования традиционно проходят на Красной площади. В этот день тысячи людей собираются в центре Москвы.
