Біотехнологічні сільськогосподарські культури (Biotechnological adricultural crops)

Biotechnological adricultural crops are growing during the last 20 years and these crops take up about 180 million hectares (10% of arable areas). World GM plant growing focuses mostly at four agricultural crops – soybean, cotton, maize and rapeseed. There crops has a herbicide-and vermine resistance.

Governments of many countries develops legal instruments for prevention of potential risks associated with GM0 circulation. Since Ukraine is one of the main producer and exporter of grain crops, it is very important for our country. Gmo legislation of Ukraine is imperfect unfortunately and it requires considerable modifying. Thus, in spite of ban of GMO using in Ukraine, producing of GM soybean, maize and rapeseed is carried into practice. Data from different institutions demonstrates this fact.

Monitoring of GM plants presence and propagation was the aim of this study. Study was performed at the molecular-genetic laboratory of SE «UkrMetrTestStandart». Food and agricultural samples of Ukrainian production were analyzed during 2013-2016. Samples of soybean, maize and rapeseed leaves, shoots and seed from different regions of Ukraine were analyzed. Kits of own production were used for analysis. Kits were designed on the basis of TaqMan Real-Time PCR method.

6 040 food and raw samples were analyzed. Half of was plant raw material and derivatine products (soybean, maize, rapeseed wheat, barley and rice). Biotechnological soybean, maize and rapessed were detected in food and raw material. In 2013/14 was detected 66(3,7%) and 77 (4,8%) samples with GM plants respectively. GM more than 0,9% was in 47 samples. GM samples  increased up to 8,2% in 2015. During current 10 months of this year 4,4% GM samples was detected by our laboratory. Most of it was aqricultural raw material.

Біотехнологічні сільськогосподарські культури вирощуються протягом останніх 20 років і займають близько 180 мільйонів гектарів (10% орних площ). Світове вирощування ГМ-культур зосереджено в основному на чотирьох сільськогосподарських культурах - соєвих, бавовняних, кукурудзі та ріпаку. Ці культури стійкі до гербіцидів і паразитів.

Уряди багатьох країн розробляють правові інструменти для запобігання потенційних ризиків, пов'язаних з обігом ГМО. Оскільки Україна є одним з основних виробників і експортерів зернових культур, це дуже важливо для нашої країни. На жаль, законодавство України з ГМО недосконале і потребує значних змін. Так, незважаючи на заборону використання ГМО в Україні, виробництво ГМО сої, кукурудзи та ріпаку здійснюється на практиці. Про це свідчать дані різних установ.
