There are many people in history who have been real leaders and Famous personalties. Let’s talk about the leaders at the USA and Britain.

George Washington was the first President of United States. He became (бикейм) President in 1789 севентин эйти найн  years after the American War of Independence.

George was born in Virginia. His family owned a big Farm. George didn’t have much education. During (дуринг) his life (лайф) he had three jobs: he was a farmer, a soldier, and a politician. (политикен) He loved the life of a farmer. In 1759 ( севентин фифти найн) he married Martha Custis.

In his later life he was Commander-in-chief of the army and fought (фат) the British in the War of Independence. By 1797 (севентин найти севен) he was tired of politic. He went back to his fаrm and died (дайд) there two years later.

Margaret worked hard, and she went to Oxford University, where she studied (стадит) chemistry. (кемистри). In 1951 (найтин фифти ван) she married Denis Thatcher and they had a girl and boy.

She became a Politian in 1959 (найтин фифти найн), leader at the Conservative Party 1975 (найтин севентин файф), and Prime (прайм) Minister four years after that. She had a strong personality. She called «Iron lady» She was Prime (прайм) Minister for 11(элевен) years. Now we know more about world famous personalities.

2 тема: Holidays in my Country

The are a lot of holidays in Russia. The are loved by all people. My family’s favorite holiday in the New Year. A week before the holiday, we buy a Christmas tree. We put her it in the room, dress it up with toys and tinsel. On December 31 (форти фёрст), we prepare a festive dinner, and at midnight we celebrate with the whole family. After that, we go for a walk in the city center. The streets are always very beautifully decorated, they create a good mood. I love this holiday

В России много праздников. Их любят все люди. В моей семье самый любимый праздник Нового года. За неделю до праздника покупаем елку. Ставим в комнату, наряжаем игрушками и мишурой. 31 декабря мы готовим праздничный ужин, а в полночь отмечаем всей семьей. После этого идем гулять по центру города. Улицы всегда очень красиво украшены, они создают хорошее настроение. Я люблю этот праздник.

There are many different professions in the world. Let’s talk about some of them.

Alison Hauser is a scientist (сайнтист). She comes from Cambrige in England but now the lives in Switzerland (Свитцерленд). She works 3 (фри) days a week at the institute of Molecular biology (байоладжи) in Geneva. She speaks 3 (фри) languages: English, French, German.

Bob Nelson is a doctor. He’s English but now he lives: Australia in the small town of Alice Spring. He’s a flying doctor. Every day, from 8 a.m. (эйт эй эм) he speaks to people on his radio, then he flies to help them. He works 16 (сикстин) hours a day non-stop but the loves his job.

Seuman McSporran (Саймон МакСпорран) comes from Scotland. He is 60 (сикстин) years old and he is a very busy (бизи) man. He’s a postman, a policeman, a fireman, a taxi-driver, a schoolbus (скулбас) driver, an and undertaker. At 8 a.m (эйт эй. эйм)  he driver the Island’s children to school. At 9 a.m. (найн эй. эм)  he collects  the post from the boat and delivers it to all houses on the Island. (айланд).. Then he helps his wife in the shop.
