Introduction

In today’s globalized world, intercultural communication has become an essential skill for effective interaction across diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds. The process of communicating between people from different cultures involves not only the exchange of words but also the navigation of varied cultural norms, values, and social practices. Linguistics, as the scientific study of language, offers important insights into how language and culture are intertwined and how they influence communication. This research aims to explore intercultural communication from the perspective of linguistics, focusing on how linguistic factors shape intercultural interactions and how misunderstandings can be minimized through linguistic awareness.

Purpose of the Study

The primary purpose of this study is to analyze the role of linguistic elements in intercultural communication and to examine the ways in which linguistic knowledge can facilitate better understanding between speakers of different cultures. To achieve the stated purpose, the following objectives are set:
