1. These days we can't imagine our life without advertising. It around us everywhere. We can see billboards and banners in the streets. We get flyers and free-samples in the shopping malls. Commercials interrupt films and TV-shows, which is irritating.  The Internet, which is a new advertising medium, is full of pop-ups and vitals.

2. What is advertising? It's a kind of business activity aimed at grabbing our attention, making us interested in the product and persuading us to buy it. To do these ads should be powerful and sophisticated, inspirational and original.

3. An effective ad should have an eye-catching image, a catchy slogan and a recognizable logo. For example, the slogan "Gazprom is a national treasure" is known throughout the country. The company's commercial shows Russia's nature, leading up to its name. The logo depicts the letter G with fire, which keeps the house warm, which is what the company does.

4. Actually, advertising has changed over the years. In ancient times most advertising was word-of-mouth. People told each other about things they liked or disliked. Another kind of advertising was wall inscriptions. In the Middle Ages printing developed which increased the forms of advertising. Handbills, newspaper ads and mail order catalogues appeared promoting all kinds of goods. Therefore the 20th centuries key period in the development of advertising. Television influenced the quality; they became more creative and persuasive by drawing attention to the unique selling points of the product that make it. At Present advertising continue using such popular techiest. Product placement is showing a particular product used by film characters without advertising it directly. As for product endorsement it is engaging celebrates to endorse a product. All the above methods are rather expensive but efficient. Nowadays the opinion of bloggers is very popular. They can mention products in their posts, and this immediately draws attention to the brand. Subscribers begin to buy what they are advised. Companies use it to promote themselves.

5. In conclusion, it’s necessary emphasize that advertising is extremely helpful both for companies and costumers. Companies can increase sells while customers can choose the best product for them.
