MODULE 4. JOB HUNTING

1) It's time to applying for a job, where should you start? To begin with, you should find out what companies are in your city, choose the most attractive ones, in which you can, in theory, be hired. 2) The next step is to write a resume. Briefly write about your career achievements, work experience, useful skills, education, hobbies. You don't need to write your biography on several sheets, which no one will read anyway. Moreover, you should not praise yourself too much and talk only about yourself, it is better to concentrate on what benefits you can bring to the company. Also, be sure to leave your contacts for feedback: your name, phone number, email, social media.

3) Your resume has been approved and you are finally invited for an interview, what should you do? You don't need to memorize the answers to possible questions, but to feel more confident, you can think about how you will answer them. Compile or find a list of the most common questions and go through each of them. For example, "Why do you want to work with us?" or "What are your salary expectations?". Also remember that not only they are hiring you, but also you are getting the job, so be sure to ask questions about the company and interview them back. The main thing is to be honest.
