• They are Sally Fox and Dominic Evo. Sally is 25 and Dominic’s 29 years old.
• Sally is a tennis coach and Dominic is an actor.
• They met in a Chinese restaurant called Ping Pong.

Exercise 4:

1. No, they weren’t. Only Sally was a bit nervous.
2. Sally described Dominic as a very friendly and attractive man. And Dominic described her as a beautiful woman with a lovely smile and amazing green eyes.
3. They talked about many things such as places they want to travel, sport, cooking, theatre.
4.  Sally was embarrassed because she couldn’t decide how to greet Dominic when they first met. Dominic was embarrassed because he understood that the waiter knew about their blind date with Sally.
5. They used chopsticks to eat their food.
6. Sally said that Dominic was very chatty and funny. Also, she mentioned that he asked a lot of questions about her and not only was talking about himself. Dominic was admired with the color of Sally’s eyes. Also, he said that she was very easy to talk to.
7. They didn’t talk about Dominic’s job: acting.
8. Their evening ended with playing the piano and singing a song.
9. Sally caught the bus home and Dominic went to get his train.

Sally and Dominic have similar hobbies like traveling. Also, they are very polite and friendly. But Sally loves sport while Dominic hates. Dominic likes cooking, but Sally hates it.

Exercise 5:

Sally was interested and interesting so she asked him a lot of questions.

Exercise 6:

1. Thank you. That lesson was really interesting.
2. It’s my birthday tomorrow so I’m very excited.
3. Look at the view! It’s amazing.
4. I didn’t like her new boyfriend. He was very boring.
5. Don’t be embarrassed. Everybody cries sometimes.

Exercise 7:

I think the will meet again.

After that day they started chatting with each other. Sally went to the theatre to watch Dominic’s playing. At the moment she is helping him train for the marathon. And Dominic is going to meet Sally’s parents next weekend.
