1. Explain the definition of the term “cloud computing” and therefore the etymology of the name

Cloud computing is a model for enabling ubiquitous, convenient, on-demand network access to a shared pool of configurable computing resources (e. g. , networks, servers, storage, applications, and services) that can be rapidly provisioned and released with minimal management effort or service provider interaction [1]. Thus, the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) explains the term cloud computing. In other words, to create the term easier to grasp I will walk you through the concept of cloud computing. Cloud computing may be a way of providing various services over the web. Therefore, when using the clouds, you will receive or use various instruments and applications like data storage servers’ databases networks and software.

The basic idea behind cloud systems is that information (such as package location and other details) about supercomputers performing the desired operations is irrelevant to the user. Similar ideas concerned the event of old models of telecommunications networks during which the phone network then the net were visualized as a cloud [2]. thanks to this cloudy theory of labor it absolutely was decided to settle on this name.
