The World Bank

  The World Bank is an international financial organization established with the aim of organizing financial and technical assistance to developing countries.

In the course of its development, the World Bank has undergone various structural changes, therefore the term "World Bank" was understood at different stages by different organizations.

Initially, the World Bank was associated with the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development, which financially supported the restoration of Western Europe and Japan after the Second World War.  And later in 1960, the International Development Association.

Currently, the World Bank is actually understood by two organizations:

 -International Bank for Reconstruction and Development

 -International Development Association

 At different times they were joined by three other organizations created for the solution of the World Bank's problems:

- International Finance Corporation

- Multilateral Investment Guarantee Agency

- International Center for Settlement  investment disputes.

 All five organizations are members of the World Bank Group and are called the World Bank Group.  In some cases, the World Bank is still understood as the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development, which is still the foundation of the World Bank.

Всемирный банк — международная финансовая организация, созданная с целью организации финансовой и технической помощи развивающимся странам[1].

В процессе своего развития Всемирный банк претерпевал различные структурные изменения, поэтому под термином Всемирный банк на разных этапах понимались разные организации.

Вначале Всемирный банк ассоциировался с Международным банком реконструкции и развития, осуществлявшим финансовую поддержку в восстановлении после Второй мировой войны Западной Европы и Японии. Позднее в 1960 г. была создана Международная ассоциация развития, которая взяла на себя часть функций, связанных с политикой этого банка.

В настоящее время под Всемирным банком фактически понимают две организации:

• Международный банк реконструкции и развития
• Международная ассоциация развития

В разное время к ним присоединились созданные для решения задач Всемирного банка ещё три организации:[2]
