On the continent of Eurasia is a wonderful country called England. It is known to us from the IX century, when the king of Wessex Egbert United most of the country into one state.

On the West and North coasts of Scotland there are numerous small Islands that are part of great Britain. The most important of these are the Orkney Shetland Islands.

The climate of the British Isles is influenced by the proximity of the ocean and especially the Gulf stream. Traditional English weather is rain and dampness: winter temperatures very rarely drop below zero The most severe weather conditions in the mountains of Scotland, Wales and Northern Scotland; in the Western part of the UK the climate is wetter than in the Eastern part due to prevailing westerly winds from the Atlantic ocean.

One of the most famous English traditions is a commitment to the culture of drinking tea, which the British adopted from the Chinese. For several centuries, this English gentleman and lady can not imagine without the traditional "tee break" – lunch break for a Cup of tea.

Another recognized English tradition – restraint and equanimity in all circumstances is most clearly manifested in personal communication. In conversation, the British tend to avoid direct statements or denials related to the finances and personal life of the interlocutor.
