1, an overview of thePipeline tractor is mainly used to detect butt weld in pipeline engineering such as gas, oil and coal transmission. Circumferential radiation is mainly used in the tube, so a single exposure can complete the detection of a butt weld. Therefore, compared with the previous lateral double-wall penetration detection method, its efficiency will be greatly improved, and the operator's labor intensity will be reduced.
This machine has the advantages of small volume, light weight, simple operation, stable work, high reliability, wide application range and so on.

3. Equipment compositionThe tractor is mainly composed of tractor, controller, positioning system, X-ray machine, DC power supply, charger and so on.
3.1 The tractor is mainly used for pulling the whole system to walk and brake in the pipeline.
3.2 The controller is used to control the running status of the system.
3.3 The positioning system is composed of transmitting and receiving devices for accurate positioning of welding seams.
3.4 The X-ray machine is used to penetrate the inspected object, expose and take the film.
3.5 The power supply consists of a battery that provides energy for the entire system.
3.6 Charger Is used to charge the battery.
4. Working principleWhen the pipeline crawler moves in the pipeline, after receiving the command source information, it is processed by THE CPU to determine whether to advance, retreat or stop, or expose. Various functions are completed through the control of the command source.
5. Installation and use5.1 installation
5.1.1 Check whether the packing cases are in good condition, whether there are bumps or damages.
5.1.2 After unpacking, check and accept according to packing list.
5.1.3 Take out the tractor and check whether it is loose, etc.
5.1.4 Select the relevant support and tighten the fastening screws.
5.1.5 Remove the Battery String (generally, it needs to be recharged before use).
5.1.6 Load the battery pack into the tractor.
5.1.7 Install the X-ray machine into the connecting mechanism and secure it.
5.1.8 Connect various plugs well.
5.1.9 Fix the locator.
5.1.10 Check all the systems again and use them on site after they are correct.
5.2 use:
Start: switch the lock switch to the "ON" end, delay 3 seconds, climb start forward.
Forward: the tractor will delay for 2 seconds after just starting or taking pictures, and the motor will start forward. During the forward process, it will emit a honk every 10 seconds, the time is 1 second, until the positioning signal is received.
Positioning: place the command source at the position to be detected. When the positioning sensor of the tractor receives the signal, the motor will stop running and transfer to the next operation.
- There are two types of positioning:1. Positioning in progress: Forward when the spider in the received signal, the control part is automatically turn to wait state, alarm signal 1 HZ (0.5 seconds, 0.5 seconds off), for 10 seconds, during this period, such as the positioning signal cut-off will be transferred to exposure, such as the positioning signal after 10 seconds, will enter the regressive wait state, alarm signal that 0.2 HZ (1 second, 4 seconds off) lasts for 10 seconds, during this period, if the positioning signal is off, it will be loaded into the backward operation, otherwise it will enter the exposure waiting state, until the signal is off, it will enter the exposure state.
- Backward positioning: when the tractor is in backward operation, the motor will stop running immediately after receiving the positioning signal, and the alarm will send a signal of 1HZ (0.5 on, 0.5 off) until the positioning signal is off, and the motor will start to advance, so that the tractor will enter the forward state.
Back to runThe tractor starts the motor to retreat, and in the process of retreat, it sends out a honk every 10 seconds for a time of 1 second until the positioning signal is received.
Exposure: When the tractor enters the exposure state, the alarm will send a signal of 0.5Hz (on for 1 second, off for 1 second), lasting for 10 seconds. Turn on the high voltage and turn off the positioning sensor. After the exposure, the delay will be 2 seconds, and the motor will start to continue to move forward.
When changing pipe diameter or first inspection, test the pipe end or equivalent steel plate first. It works best when the green light is long on.
Fault:There are two types of fault search:
- timer failure: when the open high pressure time exceeds a safety set value (maximum exposure time < 6 minutes), and when the timer has not given the end signal, the X-ray machine will be forcibly shut off, the alarm sound will occur, lasting 30 seconds, and the crawler will forcibly return.
- Locating sensor failure: when the tractor does not receive locator signal for 20 consecutive seconds in the process of pipeline progress, it will be considered that the locator is faulty, and an alarm sound will occur, and it will return by itself. This is a protective measure taken to prevent locating sensor failure. If you need to move forward, move backward (except for sensor faults).
Stop: Switch the lock switch to the "OFF" end
- Maintenance and matters needing attention
■ After each use, visually check the appearance fastening device to see if there is any abnormality.
■ When lifting the whole machine, force evenly, do not twist and drag.
■ Check battery frequently and do not run out of energy (see battery usage requirements).
■ X-ray machine shock absorption is poor, to be light, light.
