There are a lot of natural wonders. This is the amazingly beautiful northern lights, and the unusually colorful show of shooting stars, and even the simplest rainbow, familiar to us from childhood, is also a miracle of nature.All miracles amaze us in some way. This is the extraordinary beauty and unusualness of the phenomenon, its scale and terrible power, this is a unique combination of plants and animals.  

CHAPTER 1. STAR SEA

The magnificent sandy beach is covered in extraordinary lights that glow beautifully at night. It is truly a sight to behold. Vaadhoo Island, Maldives

The beach with a magical neon glow is located on one of the islands of Raa Atoll in the Maldives. It is also known as Vaadhoo Beach or Star Sea.

The glow you see at night along the coast is the result of a natural phenomenon called bioluminescence. This means that light creates a living organism. There are several sea creatures that can produce beautiful light, but the glow on Vaadhoo Beach is caused by the shellfish of a species of ostracod, the sea firefly. The neon lights produced by these organisms cover the entire beach and it looks magical. People come here from all over the world to see this natural wonder.

CHAPTER 2. RAINBOW

A rainbow is an optical phenomenon that occurs when light passes through water droplets of rain or fog, is refracted by them, and breaks up into different colors. Red radiation is deflected the least, and violet radiation is the most deflected. The remaining shades are in between. In fact, there are not seven of them, but quantillions or even more - it’s just that the human eye can only distinguish a limited number. In fact, a rainbow is a circle, not a semicircle. The fact is that the drops through which light passes have a spherical shape and are capable of recreating only a circle. The rainbow can be not only multi-colored, but also monochromatic - for example, red. This occurs at dawn or sunset, when the sun is close to the horizon.
